  18. livingdeceiver said: easiest way to avoid this is to use a cast-on other than the long-tail. I’m a big fan of the knitted cast-on, as it’s pretty stretchy so it’s great for lace (which is pretty much ALL I knit). It’s amazing how many cast-ons don’t require a tail end.
