It occurs to me we should totally make randomly taking pride in achievements in functioning skills a Thing.
Because I mean, if sometimes getting up in the morning is incredibly difficult, YOU SHOULD TOTALLY BE ABLE TO BE LIKE:

I give myself sparklepoints for things all the time that were really fucking hard for me to do, but someone else might look at me and snark about people wanting cookies for what’s expected of everyone.
Stuff like getting out of bed or remembering to eat, not stuff like not being a bigot.
